Hi Reader, check out my new newsletter!

2023 Recap

2023 was a heck of a year, and not in a totally good way. That's because the second half of 2022 sucked, and it rolled into the first four months of 2023. I had to put down my beloved Yorkie, Hollywood, who had been my companion for 18 years. He suffered tragically, and there was no choice.

Less than 3 weeks later, I lost my job in a manner that completely devasted me. It wasn't a job for a job's sake. I felt it was a calling to serve at my highest level for God and community. I gave everything I had, but in the end, it didn't matter. It made me question my view of people, their agendas, silence, behaviors, and fears. As I write this in December, I am amazed and grateful for all I've learned and how I've grown. The strength I displayed and the peace that fills me in spite of circumstances.

Ready to GIVE More 🥂

2023 was not all bad. God gives grace and a new perspective in the midst of pain if you let Him. Also, during this time, I was reminded of the depths of friendships and made new ones. I was able to be more present for my family and friends. I was cast in a television show that will air in 2024! I was forced to restart my business earlier than I planned, but I was able to get enough clients and build relationships to sustain me. I started my Hello Seven Business Coach Certification program under the inspiring Rachel Rodgers and I finish this December. Once approved, I will officially be a HELLO SEVEN COACH! 🎉 To say I'm excited is an understatement!

Times of peril push me closer to God, make me look inward, and challenge me to grow. Irrespective of pain and disappointment, I make the daily choice to remain kind, stay on my path of purpose, and ready myself to give more. Give more to myself, my family and friends, and my audience.

Success is the fulfillment of the purpose and assignment
for your life. Therefore, success is not a result. It is a perpetual pursuit.
- adapted from Myles Munroe

When our businesses are focused and the path forward is clear, we can live lives of abundance in other areas we care about most as well. Like health, family and friends, enjoying experiences and supporting causes we care about using our time, talent, and financial resources. The overwhelm associated with starting a side hustle, becoming a full-time entrepreneur, or scaling a business is reduced when we have a strategy and a plan to execute. We are on sound footing even when the unexpected happens because we are thoughtful about what lies ahead.

Founder & CEO of Hexagon Strategy Group

ERIN WHITE LEADERSHIP & BUSINESS COACH Hello Everyone! Like many of you, 2023 has been full of ups and downs. For all of these experiences, I am grateful. I am aware that I am resilient, and I can rest, recoup and reset. Since 2020, I have been the Executive Director of a large church here in Atlanta. We are a very community-forward church and do a lot of fantastic work. It has been one of the most fulfilling roles of my life. Because of this, for the last three years, although I launched a...
